After a thorough inspection of the wiring, we check to see if the issue may be a control module or wheel motor. In this case, we were able to see corrosion on the control module, which lead us to believe we isolated the problem. We ran voltage through one side of the control module but when pressing the pedal, nothing was happening. It was clear, the module was bad.

We believe in keeping our clients informed, so we sent the customer a detailed report through our online portal. The report outlined the electrical issues we found, the cost to replace the module, and several other small wear items we noticed.

Final Testing and Quality Check

Once the quote was approved, the repairs were completed, and we performed a full test run on the kids power wheels machine. Since the technician couldn’t fit in the machine, we had to recruit the help of our kids. The power wheels was run in forward and reverse, and all the lights, radio, and functions were tested. The unit was ready to go back to its owner!
