A customer brought in a Scag V-Ride lawn mower for repair to our shop in Glassboro, NJ. The customer also informed us that the mower was having issues turning. Our mechanic inspected the mower and noticed a crack at a common stress point on the frame where it meets the deck arms. After removing the tire, our welder gained better access to the cracked frame. He then jacked up the deck and mower into position before welding it back together.
