Simpson Pressure Washer Repair

The customer spoke to our mechanics, explaining to them how the pressure washer wouldn’t start up. The customer also told us how the pull cord, used to start the pressure washer, was snapping back hard. Our mechanics took the pressure washer in and assured the customer that they would be updated along the repair process.

Our first step was to swap out the fuel by draining the existing fuel and replacing it with brand new fuel. This swap could’ve been the solution to the issue, however when the mechanics tried to start the pressure washer, nothing happened. Our mechanics decided to take a look into another aspect of the pressure washer.

Simpson Pressure Washer Valve Adjustment

They examined the valves, only to find that they were completely out of adjustment. Valves in this condition can lead to gas leaks or poor engine performance.  Our mechanics readjusted the valves. When they retested the pressure washer with the newly adjusted valves, the machine started right up!

We notified the customer via the client portal and sent over some information along with an invoice. Lastly we hooked the pressure washer up to a water supply and ran it to double check that everything was working well. After a successful repair process, the pressure washer worked good as new! After coordinating a convenient time with the customer, we arranged for a swift and hassle-free pickup, and as a result, the customer was delighted to retrieve their pressure washer, now perfectly restored to its full working condition.
