June 6, 2024Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer Repairs
Having issues with your pressure washer can ruin your plans to clean up outside! One of our customers dropped off their Troy-Bilt Pressure washer for repairs. They told us it had not run in 3 years, and it had not been serviced in over 6 years! They said that water flows through the pump, but it would not start, and that is all that they know. We informed them that we would start going through the machine, and see what was wrong.
One of our mechanics brought the Troy-Bilt pressure washer into the shop and put on the table to start to diagnose. In addition to emptying out the old gas, it was clear the carburetor had some issues. Therefore, this explains why the pressure washer would not start. The fuel was bad and the carburetor was caked up. Our technician advised the customer that the pressure washer would need to have a tune-up, oil change, clean the carburetor, and test with fresh fuel.
Carburetor cleaning for Troy-Bilt Pressure washer repairs
Our client received the estimate via our online Ignition Lawn Mower & Small Engine portal and approved it. We then had our technicians get started with repairs. Our mechanic quickly removed the carburetor and cleaned it. Shortly after, they filled with new fuel. After the pressure washer was filled with gas, and the oil was changed, it was test run several times. It was clear the Troy-Bilt pressure washer was running much better now!
Our client was then notified via text and email that their Troy-Bilt pressure washer was ready for pick up. Once they came to pick up their equipment, our technician showed them the repairs, explained not to leave fuel in equipment for extended periods of time. Hence, this can cause serious running issues for equipment. The client took their pressure washer and was thrilled to get back to work cleaning!
